As a fiber artist, my greatest pleasure comes from working with recycled and reclaimed remnants of fabrics as I don’t enjoy making more than one of something and do enjoy the spontaneity of designing from what is at hand. I especially like to create a new “fabric” by adding surface treatments and embellishments or felting wool.

Almost all of my production has been functional, as in fashion accessories and decorative items for the home. However, I am beginning to explore non-functional work and am excited about that journey.
